Party 18: Christmas Caroling Party

Moonstruck's Dark Hot Cocoa, on Amazon

CHRISTMAS PARTY ACTIVITY:

Vintage Caroling Postcard, on eBay

Invite five to seven adult courageous friends to join you in walking about your neighborhood caroling. Keep the drinks to a minimum so you're not drunkenly singing too loud. Feed guests a light meal before you depart; and a lovely dessert when you return. Print out lyrics and songbooks so everyone's "on the same page." You can always arrange with a nearby charity to collect for them; otherwise just go around your neighborhood singing for free for the pleasure of it. (Don't knock on any doorbells though, nor linger too long in front of one house).

CHRISTMAS CAROLING PARTY INSPIRATION:

Merry Little Christmas Haute Cocoa Bar, from Hostess With the Mostess

Winter Wonderland Cookie Box Social, from Pretty Tasty Things

CHRISTMAS PARTY DECORATIONS:

12 Days of Christmas Mugs, from Williams Sonoma

Outdoor Oversized Ornaments, from Pottery Barn

Keep decorations simple - your guests will eat in your home, but you'll spend most of this party outdoors caroling in your neighborhood, not sitting around your house admiring your decorations.
